Chris Booth is a professional guitar player with over ten years experience both as a performer and an educator. Chris studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music for 4 years, gaining various qualifications including a BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Popular Music (Guitar) While teaching at several schools in the Greater London area.
Chris is also kept busy regularly performing with numerous bands across the country playing a variety of musical styles from Rock, Pop, Blues, Funk, Jazz. Specialising in electric and acoustic guitar.
Chris also has experience teaching classical guitar, bass, ukulele and drums. A fully DBS checked tutor with experience teaching all ages in both 1-to-1 and group situations.
Chris’s primary aim is to help students achieve their own musical goals, whatever they may be, and arm them will the skills they require to excel in their musical ventures.
Heather Jackson has been a professional actress and singer for 30 years. She has enjoyed a varied career and has performed all over the world and was delighted to play the role of Madame Giry in the West End production of 'The Phantom of The Opera' for a total of nine years, leaving the show in 2009.
Before 'Phantom' Heather performed on cruise ships singing everything from opera to rock and national tours of many musicals including 'My Fair Lady', 'The Boyfriend', Pirates of Penzance', 'Oklahoma' and more recently two new musicals - 'Feelgood Academy' and 'The Famished Land'.
She has also toured her own one woman show 'Hallowed Ground' which she created with the pianist/composer Charles Miller.
Heather's teaching career began in 2009. She has been a 'Peri' singing teacher at Glenthorne High School in Sutton since 2012 and teaches the both the ABRSM and Trinity Syllabus.
She is happy teaching students of all ages and loves helping people to find their voice whether their music taste is Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop or Opera and she loves to help them develop their self confidence whether they are working towards a performance or they just want to sing for fun.
